On Photography, Painting & Sculpture – Group Show

Erdmann Contemporary start the New Year with a summer group exhibition by two photographers, Hennric Jokeit and Robert Hamblin, two painters, Debbie Loots and Agnes Heinz and sculpture works by Nicola Roos.

While it will be Zurich-based photographer Hennric Jokeit’s debut exhibition in South Africa, Hennric Jokeit will also launch his latest book Negative Vision, at the Cape Town Art Fair on 20 February. A selection of Robert Hamblin’s print, Daughter Language, are also included in the exhibition, while Debbie Loots, a painter, who also published a novel last year, will show her work with the gallery for the first time.

Agnes Heinz returned to painting in 21012 after a long professional career as a scientist. Nicola Roos is an art student who specializes in sculpture. The series No Man’s Land which is included in this exhibition was produced as her final body of work in her third year in 2015.
