Are you a filmmaker with a story to tell? Ngalabi Short Film Festival invites submissions from East Africa, Africa, and the African Diaspora for an upcoming showcase of short films. This is your chance to share your vision with a wider audience!

Eligibility Requirements

Age Requirement: Applicants must be over 18 years old

Film Rights: Applicants must own all screening rights to their short film

Synopsis: Include a synopsis (100 – 150 words)

Director’s Biography: Provide a biography (100 – 150 words)

Director’s Headshots: Submit three high resolution headshots

Film Screengrabs: Submit three night-resolution screen grabs from the film (300 dpi)

Runtime: Submission must not exceed a runtime of 30 minutes

Subtitles: Include English subtitles

Film Link: Provide downloadable link to the film (uploaded to Google Drive, Vimeo, Dropbox, or WeTransfer and no more than 2GB
