Applications are now open for suitable candidates to participate in a second round of Cultural Leadership trainings (Train-the-Trainer and Cultural Leadership courses) presented by the African Arts Institute (AFAI), in Cape Town, South Africa, during March 2014.
AFAI will present:
– A five-day Train-the-Trainer course, aimed at individuals, from the Southern African region, wanting to apply existing training skills within the arts and culture sectors. The course is presented in Cape Town from 3 to 7 March 2014.
– A ten-day Cultural Leadership course, aimed at individuals in high-level leadership positions in the arts and culture sector, and from English-speaking countries, will be presented from 3 to 13 March 2014.
A minimum of ten applicants will be accepted onto each course, with full scholarships.
The deadline for applications for both courses, is Wednesday 20 November 2013.

The training is part of a three-year programme, funded by the European Union and implemented by AFAI and partners across five African regions. Since its launch last year close to 100 individuals, from African creative or related sectors have successfully completed courses in Cultural Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Training Development.
