Addis Calling: Vortic Edition

Addis Fine Art presents Addis Calling: Vortic Edition, in partnership with Vortic XR the art world’s leading extended reality XR platform as part of their London Collective. Exhibiting artists will include Addis Gezehagn, Tadesse Mesfin, Selome Muleta, Tariku Shiferaw, Merikokeb Berhanu, Eyerusalem Jiregna, Girma Berta, Tesfaye Urgessa and Ermias Kifleyesus. Addis Calling: Vortic Edition offers an abridged survey of the diverse contemporary Ethiopian art scene, featuring artists both based in Ethiopia and from across its vast diasporic community. The exhibition is part of the Vortic XR's second iteration of the London Collective, which brings together over 20 of the UK's leading commercial galleries. Galleries will present virtual exhibitions on the Vortic platform, with new exhibitions launching daily throughout the initative from 24 February until 30 April 2021, on the Vortic Collect app and online at vortic.art. To mark the occasion, Addis Fine Art cofounders Rakeb Sile and Mesai Haileleul will be hosting a virtual walk through of the exhibition and introduction to the Addis Fine Art gallery programme on TUESDAY 2 MARCH at 6PM GMT online on the Vortic platform.
