The Access Bank ART X Prize supports the careers of emerging artists dedicated to pursuing professional careers in visual arts. Emerging Nigerian artists who have been practising for 3 years or more are welcome to apply.

Artist’s Bio
A PDF (not exceeding 500 words) describing yourself. It should include your formal/self-taught art educational background, recent exhibitions or other career highlights, and relevant biographical information such as where you grew up, where you create your work etc.
Artist Statement
A PDF (not exceeding 500 words) describing your artistic practice and interests. You may include a description of the specific body of work you are submitting and details of the concepts, materials, or questions that guide your creative process.
CV / Resume
A summary (3 pages or less) of your background and achievements, focusing on the last 5 years. Also provide details for two references – full name, position/title, email address and phone number – who can speak about your work.
Artist Works
One zipped folder (not more than 10MB) containing a portfolio of 10 works. Each image submitted should be captioned as follows: FirstName, LastName, Title, Year. For example, ”Femi Ogunji, Starlight, 2021”. Also, include a numbered list that corresponds with the images in your portfolio. This list must include the Title, Date, Media, Dimensions (Height x Width x Depth, if applicable) or Duration of each work.
Proof of Nigerian Citizenship
A scanned copy of your Nigerian Passport data page, National Identification Number Card, Voter’s Registration Card, or Driver’s License.
