Installation view digital exhibition at Mahagony Culture, 2020.

Mahogany Culture is a Caribbean History and Culture Collective, focused on Caribbean Culture Retention. Founded by Zoe Osborne in 2016, the main goal of the online digital space is to provide a place where the diverse culture of the Caribbean is acknowledged, and where people who identify with Caribbean culture can feel at home.

Their first digital exhibition, from March 27 to April 27 2020, works as a conversation about what ‘contemporary culture’ looks like in Barbados and the Caribbean, featuring thirteen different artists from Barbados and the Diaspora.

Mahogany Culture Collective promotes existing services for Caribbean communities and focuses on events, in order to bring people together and share knowledge, arts, stories and experiences of different aspects of Caribbean culture in an innovative way.
