Fringe 2020

9 January 2020
The National Arts Festival has announced that the call for registration for the 2020 Fringe is now open. The 2020 Festival takes place from 25 June – 5 July in Makhanda (Grahamstown).
The Fringe is the non-curated part of the Festival programme; open to all. It provides a space where artists and producers can showcase a variety of works from music and visual art to dance, theatre, poetry, family fare, public art and more to the Festival audience and their peers.
Although the National Arts Festival is currently in a research phase towards reimagining a new Fringe model, the 2020 Fringe will remain the same as it has in previous years.
The deadline for applications for performing arts and music is 20 January 2020 and 31 January 2020 for film and visual art.
