Reading Session with C& Center of Unfinished Business

Reading Session with C& Center of Unfinished Business

In this reading session, we will explore texts from the reading room set up by C& Center of Unfinished Business in collaboration with Talking Objects Lab, and KINDL – Centre for Contemporary Art as part of the exhibition Ré-imaginer le passé. Participants are invited to share a quote or a short paragraph from a selected publication. By reading together, we create an associative narrative that opens up perspectives to deepen ideas and discussions. No prior reading is required.

The C& Center of Unfinished Business offers visitors an unusual, sometimes uncomfortable selection of books that deal with the topic of colonialism. The aim is not to create a complete collection of books on colonialism, because: When was it ever supposed to be? After all, colonialism is far from over on many levels. The C& Center for Unfinished Business is an ongoing project of Contemporary And (C&), a dynamic platform for reflecting on and linking discourses on contemporary visual art.

Moderated by Celina Baljeet Basra.
Please register via KINDL and be on time.
In German and English.
Free admission.
In the exhibition Ré-imaginer le passé (M2)
