Other Territories | Autres Territoires – Group Show

Other Territories | Autres Territoires brings together five artists from the Congo, Haiti, Guadeloupe, Cameroon, and Nigeria who now work in Montréal and Toronto. Through weaving, layering, cut‑outs, and rhythmic gestures, they embrace deliberate opacity—eschewing fixed representations to explore material, ritual, and poetic possibilities.

Their work speaks to the present while conversing with a reimagined, global art history. This upcoming exhibition will include more than 30 works by Moridja Kitenge Banza, Marie‑José Gustave, Emmanuel Osahor, Moses Salihou, and Michaëlle Sergile. Co-curated by Catherine Bédard & Joséphine Denis.
