In Spirit, In Truth

In Spirit, In Truth is an exhibition showcasing works by seven emerging Black Jamaican artists that examine African cultural retention in Jamaican society. The exhibition explores historical and contemporary Black Jamaican spirituality, highlighting Afro-Jamaican religious traditions through diverse materials and techniques. Featuring references to Revivalism, Obeah, Mayalism, and Afro-Christian beliefs, the exhibition investigates the presence of African metaphysical perspectives in Jamaican spiritual practices.
