Art Weekend São Paulo

Latitude: Platform for Brazilian Art Galleries Abroad and SP-Arte will host the first Art Weekend São Paulo from September 2 through 4, 2016.

The event will take place the weekend before the opening of the 32nd Bienal de São Paulo, and will bring together 36 art galleries. Exhibitors will host several openings and talks, taking advantage of São Paulo's rich cultural scene. The participating galleries will feature works by 130 artists, with more than 40 free events taking place over the weekend. Art Weekend São Paulo will also include exhibitions, roundtable discussions with artists and curators, as well as gallery walks throughout the city.

The walks will be split into four circuits and located in Centro/Barra Funda, Itaim, Jardins and Pinheiros/Vila Madalena.Each of the circuits can be explored on foot or with a free shuttle service, with pick-up and drop-off locations near the participating galleries: Almeida e Dale, Andrea Rehder Arte Contemporânea, ArtEEdições, Baró Jardins, Bergamin & Gomide, Blau Projects, Boatos Fine Arts, Bolsa de Arte, Carbono, Casa Nova Arte, Casa Triângulo, Central, Choque Cultural, DAN Galeria, Eduardo Fernandes, Fólio, Fortes Vilaça, Frente, Jaqueline Martins, Leme, Luciana Brito, Luisa Strina, Lume, Marcelo Guarnieri, Mario Cohen, Mendes Wood DM, Mezanino, Millan, Nara Roesler, Paulo Kuczynski Escritório de Arte, Rabieh, Raquel Arnaud, Sé, Vermelho, Zipper.
