Entitled Proregress, the 12th Shanghai biennale tasked 65 international artists to engage with the question of art in the age of historical ambivalence. Curated by Cuauhtémoc Medina as well as María Belén de Ibarra, Yukie Kamiya and Wang Wewei, the biennale continues until 10 March 2019 in Shanghai, China. Here's our first impressions.
