Community
C& is more than a platform. It’s a space held by many – by people who write, think, organize, question, create, document, and open up new ways of seeing and being.
Welcome to the C& Community.

At the center of C& are the artists – their voices, their practices, their realities.
C& writers don’t write about artists but with them – in dialogue, with sensitivity to language, history, and context. This involves careful observation, an empathetic criticality, and a cultivated connection to the urgent issues of our time.
Translators are essential to this process – not as intermediaries, but as active interpreters who carry voices across languages and geographies. Even as we operate within colonial languages, we strive to move beyond them by embracing linguistic plurality and context-specific knowledge.
Curators can play a crucial role in shaping the conditions for artistic dialogue. Alongside artists, they help create frameworks, build networks, and hold space for trans-local exchange. This work ensures that art does not exist in a vacuum, but within living, shifting ecosystems.
What unites these cultural producers is a shared commitment to exploring artistic expression, memory, power, and identity – without being bound to one geography, one language, or one discipline.
What does it really mean to be in a community that holds and supports one another?
