Find some impressions of the pavilions and artists' work that have been honored at the 59th Venice Biennale here.

For her participation in Cecilia Alemani’s main show and at the US Pavilion, Simone Leigh receives the Golden Lion for the Best Artist. The Golden Lion for the Best National Pavilion goes to Great Britain with works by Sonia Boyce and curated by Emma Ridgway. Special mentions received Zineb Sedira’s French Pavilion curated by Yasmina Reggad, Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath and Ugandas Pavilion with Acaye Kernen and Collin Sekajugo curated by Shaheen Merali.
